My name is Lee Nguyen. I was born on May 19th, 1983 in Edmonton, Alberta.  Yes, I am a Canadian.

I’m a full time software developer, having recently graduated from the University of Alberta.  I really do love my profession, and I’m pretty geeky/nerdy when it comes to computers.  Hell, I’m geeky and nerdy when it comes to everything else too.  Though, there are some boundaries I will not cross… like playing Magic the Gathering or dressing up to play some Dungeons and Dragons.

I really love listening to music, and my tastes are quite eclectic.  I’m a novice classical guitar player, though I’m not even sure if I’m deserving of that title as I’ve only been self-taught.

I love to hike, as I used to do a lot of that in the Rockies.  I miss that, now that I live in Ottawa where the biggest “mountains” here are really just hills.

I live with my wonderful girlfriend Renata in a suburb in Ottawa.  It’s not quite the life that I had envisioned I’d be living in, but it’s starting to grow on me nonetheless.  It’s not as boring and terrible as I once had thought it’d be, but I guess having Renata around keeps it lively too.
